Our mission is to provide our players and families with a lacrosse experience they will not forget.  We were born out of the desire to give back to the Arizona lacrosse community by offering an affordable option to take travel teams to tournaments in the Southwest.  We recognize that there are many great opportunities in and around Arizona to play the game at a higher level with out incurring large travel expenses to do so.

 

Our founders, Andy Fairfield and Tyler Chleborad, have had many opportunities to play the game at tournaments and showcases on the East Coast, West Coast and other venues in between.  As rising Seniors in high school and in the midst of their last summer of eligibility for most tournaments, they didn’t want to just leave the game they loved so decided they could continue to be involved while giving back to other players by creating the Arizona Hawks.

 

Our model is to provide each of our players and families with the best possible experience while at the tournaments we attend.  Playtime is divided equally among players so that each individual comes away with a great memory, and feeling that they contributed to the games as much as their teammates.

 

We have just as high a competitive spirit as the next team, but we recognize that we may not compete with the best of the best so we structure our teams and tournament entries so as not to play the at the elite levels.   While we recognize that college coaches may be in attendance at the events we enter, it is not our mission to push our players to get recruited.   We are at the events for the experience of playing the game of lacrosse in an environment that many of our players may not otherwise have a chance to play in.  We will win some games and we will lose some, but in the end our players and families will take great memories home with them.
